Ludovic Tézier (born in 1968 in Marseille, France) is a French baritone.





Introduction

French opera singer internationally recognized, Ludovic Tézier is defined as a craftsman.

As a professional, he managed to climb in the space of two decades at the highest level. Since, Ludovic Tézier leads his career with a series of choices that allow an authentic artistic development and a harmonious development in vocality. It is also the first artist in France to be distinguished in this way.

Student Claudine Duprat, CNIPAL and the School of Art Lyrique of the Opéra de Paris with Michel Senechal, he comes into company as a baritone in Lucerne (Switzerland), where he remained two years. It is quickly noticed by Nicolas Joel, who gave him his first role in Toulouse. He then auditioned for Jean Pierre Brossmann and joined the Lyon Opera. In 1998 he was the second prize ex-aequo with the mezzo-soprano Joyce di Donato in Operalia competition.
