The Guide to Miracles
I was born in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1961. As a son of an U.N. official I spent the first 16 years of my life living in different African and Asian countries. During this early period of my life I was exposed to many diverse cultures and religions and I believe that this has had a strong influence on my life and career. In 1985 I earned a M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from the University Of Linköping, Sweden. I have since then enjoyed a successful 15–year management career in a Swedish multinational company, self employment and working as production manager in one of Italy's most prestigious wine manufacturers.
I was first introduced to metaphysical questions when I attended an introductory course in Modern Physics, during my university studies, in 1982. This course sparked a more than 20–year long passionate exploration of the nature of our existence. The insight that I have reached during these years of study is what I present in The Guide to Miracles.
Through my different management positions I have had the opportunity to explore many leadership and motivational issues and as a result earned a deep understanding of human nature. In my professional life as manager, trainer and coach I have always been driven by an intuitive feeling to find “another way” of doing things. I believe what I present in my book is a radical new way of looking at life and the potential of every individual.
I currently live with my family near the Garda Lake in Italy.

Acoustic Guitar - Staffan Svahn - Red Hills
March 27, 2008
Yesterday evening I took off late for my daily run. When I ran up into our valley the sun was setting behind me. As I gazed up towards the hills they caught fire. For about a minute the hills glowed in the most spectacular shades of red.
